Как включить YafRay в выпадающий список в настройках рендера???
У меня убунта 8.04, blender 2.49b + python 2.5. Установил из источников YafRay, но в блендере его нигде не видно! Хотелось бы, чтобы как в версии 2.45 была возможность выбора internal/yafray.> Хотелось бы, чтобы как в версии 2.45 была возможность выбора internal/yafray.
Несмотря на то, что коды переписаны в исходниках блендера 2.49 лежит всё по старому, а в каком из конфигов отключена поддержка Яфрея неизвестно. Кто профессионал в сборке, тот должен знать, как собрать, чтоб 2.49 поддерживал старый Яфрей

Все, нашел. http://www.yafaray.org/download/yafaray010 Только жаль, что старый.
советую обновить убунту до последней версии (9.10), там и с питоном проблем не будет

У меня комп с флешки работает, все остальное тупит просто жуть, поэтому 8.04. Она более или менее нормально работает. Я вот настроил, при выборе Яфы из меню рендера выдает в консоли вот такое вот сообщение, может кто знает:

может скажешь что и по каким папкам в корне надо раскидать. а то у меня та же проблема сейчас (хотя я на винде сейчас). я скачал сборку блендера (с GraphicAll.org) , там яафа уже есть.
но вот такое же сообшение выпадает в консоле. папку с блендером я держу на диске Д в корне.

Переустановил Ubuntu (пришлось к сожалению), установил Blender 2,49. Отказывется работать Яф а Рай!! Пишет ошибка сегментации Segmentation fault. Никогда такого небыло.
